I've been working with furniture for over fifteen years.

I graduated with a BFA from the Art Institute of Boston with an immediate interest in furniture.  I began my career at Art Applications, a small finishing shop catering mainly to designers.  I painted creative designs and applied finish (such as glazing and antiquing) to a variety of pieces.

This endeavor led me to continue on my creative path to become an Art and Finishing Supervisor at Concord Green, a hand-painted furniture company. During this stage in my career, I began pursuing my interests in creating furniture.  I started building, designing, and learning the trade.

A few years later I became Site Manager for Wayne Towle - Master Finishing. I had the benefit of working with some very talented craftspeople, who helped me to become an accomplished wood finisher.  I provided my professional finishing expertise to fulfill each client's specific needs.  Meanwhile, my home workshop was still growing as was my knowledge of wood working.

My next venture was joining Warehouse Provence, a wholesale furniture importer and domestic barnwood furniture producer. There I ran the production facility, restructuring it in order to increase output while providing a higher quality product. My personal workshop had also been completed at this time, and I was able to continue working at home; designing, building and finishing beautiful furniture. I soon moved on to being the Production Manager for Decora, where I continued to produce high quality barnwood furniture.

Creating furniture in my own shop now allows me to stay more in tune with my customers needs. I'm also now able to provide a level of quality that is unachievable in a production style setting.  Since I've been building furniture on the side for several years, the decision to do it on my own was a natural one. This website is the result of my acheivements.
