West Acton 'floor hatch' table

This table is constructed of white pine reclaimed from a small barn in West Acton, Ma. circa 1860's. The top of the table is a hatch cover taken from the floor and still has the original loop hardware attached. The base is joined with mortise and tenon and pegged with antique oak.

Sofa table

The top of this 5' long sofa table, taken from a stable, was made from a single piece of century old pine. Its naturally "horse chewed" edge gives it a unique rustic look.
